Hey everyone.... I am just booking my flight plans. I can get into Bisbaine on my points but then need to find a regional carrier to get up to Prosperpine....
I'm planning to spend an extra week at the end of the trip and wondering what everyone's plans are. Should I head back to Brisbaine or try to get my return flight out of Sydney instead? I am wide open at this point but want to get the tickets locked down by the weekend.
Cheers,
Christian

Hi - I will be driving up with Lucia and we hope to get food / supplies for the yacht on route. Unfortunately with all the gear and food there is no additional space. On the 2nd April we will be returing via road also.
Who are you flying into Brisbane with and do you need accommodation in Brisbane ?
Cheers
Byron
A reminder to all the Canadians. You'll need to apply for an Australian tourist visa. depending on who you booked with they can usually handle it, or call the airline you're traveling with and they should be able to do it for you. As far as I know it is free but I know there are a few sites charging 20.00.

I applied for the ETA online at http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ and it cost me $20AUD. Thanks for mentioning this Lucia.
I will be flying in on the 19th, arriving on the morning of the 21st in Brisbane. Then flying in from Brisbane to Hamilton, then ferrying in to Airlee Beach. Whew!
That's the plan.
